Whether visiting communities in need or exploring new cultures, our boys learn to navigate unfamiliar environments with humility, curiosity, and respect. These experiences teach them how to represent themselves and their team with integrity, build confidence through new challenges, and see firsthand the impact kindness and teamwork can have across different places and people.

Every trip — from supporting youth in Lahaina to competing internationally in Japan — strengthens the bonds between our players and opens the door to friendships that cross borders. By combining baseball with cultural exchange, the PONO program gives young athletes the opportunity to expand their worldview, connect with communities far from home, and create memories that last a lifetime. These travels remind our boys that baseball is more than a sport; it’s a path to understanding, connection, and becoming compassionate leaders both on and off the field.
